Creating a cock hero-style rhythm video - step by step
⏱ About 15 minutes (10 in Onset Engine + 5 for beat meter in post)
Steps
Import your clips
Drag in a folder of clips. For cock heroes, variety matters - different scenes keep the viewer engaged across a longer video. Aim for 20+ clips of 10-60 seconds each.
Add your song
Choose a track with clear rhythm changes - building intensity, breakdowns, and a strong climax section. EDM, dubstep, or anything with tempo variation works well. The AI maps every beat and energy change automatically.
Select Aggressive preset
The Aggressive preset creates the rapid-fire, beat-synced cutting that cock heroes need. The AI maps the song's energy curve so cuts naturally get more intense during drops and ease off during breakdowns.
Preview and use Curator tools
Preview the full video. Use Swap to replace clips that don't match the intensity of their section. Use Pin to lock key clips at important moments. The Re-Roll tool randomizes sections you're not happy with.
Export from Onset Engine
Render your beat-synced edit. This gives you the core rhythm video with perfectly timed cuts. For a standard cock hero, you still need a beat meter overlay.
Add beat meter in a free editor
Import your export into DaVinci Resolve (free) or Shotcut. Add a beat meter overlay on a track above your video. Many free beat meter templates exist online. This step takes about 5 minutes for a simple bar or circle meter.
